SwimPossible, the country's fastest growing adaptive water safety and stroke development lessons provider is looking for quality instructors to provide one-on-one training to children and young adults that don't succeed in a traditional group environment. Successful candidates will receive SwimPossible' s exclusive training and certification as part of their paid internship.Candidates Must Possess:A passion for helping othersFormal training in PT, OT, Paraprofessional, SPED teachers or similar,or a minimum 2 years' experience working with neurodiverse individualsStrong leadership and communication skillsThe ability to work independently with high levels of energy and enthusiasmA desire to positively interact with students and their familiesHelpful, but we can provide to the right individuals:American Red Cross Lifeguard CertificateCurrent CPR/ First Aid CertificateCompleted Swim Angelfish ProgramAbout the Company:SwimPossible provides quiet, safe, calming lessons that are customized for students who need a gentle approach to water safety and learning to swim. Our method incorporates the movement and relaxed breathing of yoga, the gentle floating of water massage, and current swimming techniques to help students quiet their minds and feel how their bodies move in the water.SwimPossible does not focus on diagnoses or labels. We teach swimming lessons to students of all ages who are not served successfully by traditional methods, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, ADD & ADHD, Down's Syndrome, and other sensory and learning differences.We at SwimPossible believe that people of all abilities should learn the lifelong benefits and therapeutic value from learning how to swim.
