Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.Leidos has an opening for a Sr. Tier II Network Technician to support computer data communications systems, in providing design specifications, testing and inspections for computer networks; plan and implementing upgrades; as well as, analyzing and organizing corresponding hardware and software combined solutions through network modeling.The job duties are as follows:The Sr. Tier II Tech will support the installation and maintenance of the client LAN/WAN devices.Respond to and resolve incidents, demonstrate troubleshooting skills and communicate with the team.Complete assigned tasks within Service Level Objectives/Agreements (SLOs/SLAs).Draft and implement standard network change requests.Provide support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects (site surveys, TEMS, coordinate and install new equipment).Perform configuration management functions such as update topology drawings, ensure asset management records are accurate, and conduct inventory.Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades. (Knowledge of CISCO/Juniper RMA process).Layer 1 network experience (CAT5/6, SM/MM Fiber, Serial cables, SFP).Layer 2 network experience (ability to configure/troubleshoot switches/routers, MAC addresses, VLANs, port security, applying thin and thick configs.Layer 3 network experience (subnetting, familiar with protocols such as OSPF, BGP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE)Configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching (VLAN's, Port Security, Thin Configs). Perform IOS upgrades for Cisco, Juniper, Brocade and Foundry OS. Experience with Visio.Familiar with ServiceNow and Confluence.REQUIREMENTSRequired Clearance: TS/SCI with CI PolyCandidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 8 years, master's and 10 years, bachelor's and 12 years, associates and 14 years or HS diploma and 16 years. Required qualifications include: Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.Additional required qualifications include:Available to travel up to 20% of the time.Available to work flexible hours, to include weekend support.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environmentOriginal Posting Date:2024-06-20While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
