This is an exciting opportunity for an accountant looking to build and manage financial systems in a challenging and rewarding environment.Why join us?Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceJob DetailsResponsibilities: Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements Create new processes to improve financial efficiency Report analysis and findings to management team Oversee junior accountants and accounting assistants Interact with various internal departments and external agencies as needed Ensure compliance with all internal processes Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes Support month-end and year-end close process Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departmentsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required, Master's degree in Accounting preferred 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite applications Strong understanding of accounting theory and GAAP Highly skilled in math, accounting and financial processes Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information High level of efficiency and accuracy Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company-specific regulations related to financial and ethical matters Excellent problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills CPA certification is a plus Experience with financial software and systems is a plus Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a terested in hearing more?
