We are looking to add a litigation paralegal to our team. Are you ready?We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our award-winning legal team as a Litigation Paralegal. The ideal candidate will be proactive and assertive in their approach, ensuring that the litigation processes are executed effectively. This role requires someone who can take initiative, manage multiple tasks with precision, and thrive in a busy environment. As an integral part of our in-house legal department, you will provide essential support to our attorneys and staff and will contribute to the efficient functioning of our legal operations. With your exceptional organizational abilities, tech-savviness, critical thinking, and strong attention to detail, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our legal processes run smoothly and effectively. CES's legal team is a jerk free zone.Your Objectives:Assist in managing relationships with outside counsel, ensuring effective communication and coordination.Oversee and organize case documentation, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.Assist with the review and analysis of legal documents prepared by outside counsel.Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents in response to discovery requests.Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support the legal team and outside counsel.Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.Track and monitor case deadlines and ensure timely submission of all required filings.Assist in the preparation and organization of materials for internal meetings and discussions related to litigation matters.Maintain and update legal databases and case management municate with internal stakeholders, clients, and outside counsel as needed.Assist with budgeting and invoicing related to outside counsel and litigation expenses.Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in handling legal matters and maintaining attorney-client privilege.Provide assistance on special legal projects, as assigned.
