May perform routine and repetitive finishing and assembly operations using small power/pneumatic tools, hand tools, and/or other machinery. Places product in designated packaging receptacles following standardized set-up. Perform operations in accordance to all safety procedures.Participates in standard job rotations. Perform job rotation with team members to insure proper standardized work and ergonomic safety.Maintains in-station process controls. Performs required inspection of components and sub-assemblies. Works with the Team Coordinator to report all variances and/or improper operations.Keep area clean and safe.Works to ensure work area is maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition at all times. Immediately alerts team of all unsafe work conditions.Participates in warm up and stretching procedures. Will participate in team warm ups at the beginning of every shift.Participates as a member of the Production Team. Participates in ongoing development, problem solving, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies. Attends appropriate team meetings. Fosters cohesiveness regarding all major issues; e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes, etc. Accepts responsibility to work with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues effecting cohesiveness. Actively look for ways, and reinforce actions needed, to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization.Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Nor is it intended that this describe all the work that may be required of the person in this position.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, principles, and tools preferred.
