At Catalyst Health Group we are passionate about helping communities thrive and empowering primary care to be the difference-maker in people's lives that it was always meant to be./nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE/n/nWork as a team with other NCT/X-ray technicians to ensure patients are processed in a timely manner and according to the organization's protocol and procedures. This would include verification of patient's identity and ensuring all orders are placed in the EMR/EHR systems before the procedure begins./n/n/nEnsure a high degree of customer service is practiced with each patient. /nAssists patient in dressing for exam and attends to patient's physical wellbeing during the exam and procedure process. /nComplete blood draws as efficiently as possible. Collects specimens in the proper container based on test that was ordered. /nMay educate patient and family regarding the plan of treatment or procedure./nObtain lab samples and completely fill out lab slips and other forms, when necessary/nFollow universal precautions to protect self and patients/nStock procedure rooms with supplies/nTakes responsibility of medical equipment cleaning, quality control and sterilization in accordance with OSHA guidelines/nMay assist in the lab by performing blood draws /nAbility to relate to the public regardless of racial, ethnic and economic status/nPromotes and believes in providing quality healthcare services and education to the community in a convenient and compassionate manner./nMay perform other duties as assigned./n/nACCOUNTABILITIES/n/nFollows organization and OSHA safety rules and procedures/nUpholds HIPAA/PHI regulations/nPunctual and dependent for assigned shifts/nSitting, standing, walking and/or moving up to 8 hours per day/nLifting up to 25 pounds/n/nQUALIFICATIONS/n/nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred/nNCT certification required/nPhlebotomy certification preferred/nCPR certification preferred/nProficient interpersonal relations and communication skills/n1+ years' experience in a healthcare environment preferred/n/nBENEFITS/n/nCompetitive compensation commensurate with experience/nMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance/nHealth Savings account/nLife Insurance/nHolidays and PTO/n401K/nReferral programs/nUpskilling opportunities/n/nCatalyst Health Group Job ID #1233321.
