ProspectBlue has partnered with a law firm in Fredericksburg, VA that is looking for a Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join it's team!ResponsibilitiesDraft and prepare pleadings for filingAttend telephone conferences and prepare synopsis memorandaMaintain pleadings and discovery indexesDraft broker transition documentsOrganize exhibits, documents, briefs and appendicesAid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requestsGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesRedact information from documentsAssist in trial preparation by preparing binders, indexing discovery, and preparing trial exhibitsPrepare witness preparation bindersSkillsProven working experience as a workers compensation paralegalApplicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, etc.Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong writing and communication skills along with attention to detailExtensive computer and database expertise (MS Excel and Word skills necessary)
