We are searching for our next new "Bullionaire!" This new role, the Director of Digital Merchandising will be responsible for driving and executing all aspects of product performance and experience through data, technology and operations for JM Bullion and its subsidiary's sites.Who We Are:JM Bullion, Inc (JMB) is a leading e-commerce retailer providing investors and collectors access to a broad array of precious metal products. This position will lead a team of 7-10 individuals with varying roles to drive merchandising execution ranging from menu and search optimization, photography and image quality, copywriting and product specifications to drive optimal performance and customer experience. The role extends to all product lines and websites. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Merchandising & Purchasing, this role is critical to driving growth and customer lifetime value. Some of the essential duties will include:Leads all efforts to utilize technology to drive product performance and conversionLeads team responsible for all aspects of content creation, publishing of items and customer facing merchandising strategy.Drive content creation prioritization and execution to manage continual additions to assortment (PIM)Manages digital asset strategy, workload and image quality (DAM)Ensures customer facing copy created by copywriting team is accurate, provides insights to customers and consistency in experiencePerforms regular competitive assessments to identify areas of improvement and opportunities to capture market shareWeekly monitoring/reporting of item/category performance and actions to adapt to customer click behaviorInstitutes test and learn approach (a/b testing) to best inform impacts of changes/enhancementsPartners with Purchasing & Marketing organizations to ensure alignment of vision and executionPerforms Ad Hoc analysis to identify areas of opportunity. Recommends solutions and implements processes/tools to achieve desired resultsManage and improve operational processes, policies, and systems in support of the organization's mission and to improve efficiency and qualityWhat you need:At least 5 years of digital merchandising experience in a retail environmentBachelors degree in Digital Merchandising, Economics, Business or equivalent required.MBA or other post graduate degree is desirable.Strong business acumen to identify areas of opportunity and drive for results in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated leadership in managing people and projectsStrong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in driving performanceProduct information management (PIM) and digital asset management (DAM) experienceExcellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenA demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace What you'll get:Competitive base and bonus compensationMonthly team events and happy hoursHybrid work environment & modern standing desks at the officeFree food.
