Job Description:

We seek a skilled Employee Relations Coordinator to join our talented team. The Coordinator is responsible for fostering a positive employee relations environment by implementing programs that promote employee engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be patient, self-motivated, and maintain a professional presence.Specifically:Investigate and resolve complex or critical employee relations issues in a timely and effective mannerHandle employee complaints, manage grievance procedures, and facilitate counseling with other stakeholdersCollaborate with Corporate Trainer to advise and train managers in best employee practices and strategies for managing employee problems and grievancesResearch and explain employment laws to management as requiredAssemble and analyze employee feedback across all levels on a regular basisCollaborate with HR Director to revise people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomesConduct exit Interviews to accurately document reason for separation and identify ways to improve staff retentionCoordinate employee relations events and programs to facilitate retentionMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or SHRM-CP/ PHR certificationIn-depth knowledge of employment legislation7 years experience in employee relationsMust be able to work a flexible schedule based upon business needsExcellent organizational skills with high attention to detailApproachable and possess strong verbal and written communication skillsApply: Avo Photonics offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
