Position Overview: As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the maintenance activities within our manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment, and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.LOCATION: Pueblo, COResponsibilities:Leadership and Team Management:Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and performance excellence.Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability within the maintenance department.Maintenance Planning and Execution:Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of manufacturing equipment and facilities.Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to production schedules.Oversee troubleshooting and repairs of equipment breakdowns, utilizing root cause analysis to implement long-term solutions.Budgeting and Resource Management:Manage the maintenance department budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses for labor, materials, and outside services.Optimize resource allocation and inventory management to ensure timely availability of spare parts and supplies.Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain a safe working environment.Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction through efficiency improvements and technology upgrades.Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and/or instrumentation maintenance.Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Proficiency in maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
