Job Description:

Next Door Beach Bistro is a modern American French Bistro located in Flagler Beach. Voted #1 on Trip Advisor, Next Door has a 30 seat upscale bar that sells delicious craft cocktails in a busy environment.We are looking for an experienced hands on manager that can assist the bartenders when busy. In addition they will order and inventory all product, write bar schedules, manage the bar staff, and make sure the bar remains spotless and clean.Bar managers will be required to assist the management team with opening and closing the restaurant and overseeing day to day restaurant operations.All applicants should be hands on, positive, dependable, and a team player.Compensation depends upon experience.Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient serviceManage inventory control, including ordering and stocking of beverages and suppliesCreate and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitabilityTrain and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support as neededMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bar areaEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsHandle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional mannerCollaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service operationsDevelop and update drink menus, taking into account customer preferences and trendsSkills:Strong bartending skills, including knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniquesExperience in food service management, including knowledge of food handling and safety proceduresExcellent leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage inventory, schedules, and budgetsProficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systemsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentExceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanorPrevious experience as an assistant manager or in a similar supervisory role is preferredNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
