We are dedicated to providing accurate and reliable field surveys, biological assessments, and compliance monitoring to our clients.Role DescriptionThis is an On-Call on-site role for a Wildlife Biologist at Mountainview Biological Consulting, LLC. The Wildlife Biologist will be responsible for conducting field surveys, status species surveys, nesting bird surveys, biological site assessments, and general biological and botanical surveys. The role also includes compliance monitoring.QualificationsStrong knowledge and experience in wildlife, botanyBackground in wildlife biology and wildlife managementExperience conducting field surveys and assessmentsExperience conducting nesting bird surveysKnowledge of regulatory compliance and monitoringExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExperience using Survey123, Excel, and Field MapsStrong time management skillsStrong navigational skillsThe ability to walk up to 10 miles in a day on uneven terrainBachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or related fieldExperience with GIS is a plusRelevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with endangered species surveys, wetland delineation certifications, and familiarity with local and federal regulations.
