Job Title: Service Desk Technician IIJob Location: Huntington Beach, CA 92649Job Type: Contract- to- Hire, 100% OnsiteJob Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 am - 5 pmSalary Range: $60,000 - $70,000General DescriptionWe are looking for a competent Service Desk Technician II to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. An excellent Help Desk Technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers.Job Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.Provide accurate information on IT products or services.Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.Follow-up and update customer status and information.Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.Requirements:3 years of technology support experience.Proven experience as a Service Desk Technician II or other customer support role.Tech-savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control.Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.Excellent communication skills.Customer-oriented and ability to work under pressure.General experience with server environments.Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot.Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 configuration.MSP experience.Remote Desktop Services experience.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard torace, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
