Apply today!We have a top client in the Detroit, MI area that is seeking to hire a Junior RecruiterJob Summary:In this position, you will support the Talent Acquisition team in a variety of areas including sourcing, identifying, and interviewing top talent. You will own full life cycle requisitions and assist in the coordination of the recruitment process ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Recruitment:Support full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews.Assist in creating job postings and managing job boards.Help maintain ATS (Applicant Tracking System)Schedule and conduct intake calls with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and requirements.Onboarding:Sending new hire paperwork and ensuring it is completed within the necessary time frame.Sending out new hire announcementsConducting New Hire OrientationAdministrative:Launching background checks and drug testEnsuring new hire files are accurate and up to dateAssisting the Talent Acquisition Team with other administrative tasks Job Requirements:1-2 years of experience in recruitment or human resources.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Knowledge of recruitment processes and employment law.Familiarity with social media and professional networks for sourcing candidates.OpTech is an EOE, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
