Generator Source, locatedin Brighton, Colorado, is the premier destination for industrial diesel generator solutions, specializing in the procurement and distribution of new, surplus and pre-owned commercial power generation equipment. With over 40 years of expertise in the power generation industry, our facility in Brighton, Colorado is at the forefront of excellence.Our primary focus revolves around low-hour industrial diesel and natural gas generators, spanning from 20 kW to 2000 kW. We proudly service all major generator brands, including Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, Generac, MTU, and more.Key Responsibilities:Ensure equipment functionality by conducting inspections, adhering to preventive maintenance protocols, rectifying deficiencies, and maintaining meticulous records.Identify equipment condition through comprehensive inspections, diagnostic tests, and troubleshooting efforts.Oversee maintenance of yard and field equipment, encompassing forklifts, cranes, service trucks, welders, trailers, generators, etc.Execute preventive maintenance schedules, implement component installations and upgrades, address deficiencies, uphold equipment appearance, and maintain task records.Conduct diagnostic tests and repairs during initial testing phases.Perform filter changes and standard service procedures on units.Collaborate closely with the Service Manager to track project progress, provide estimates, and more.Prepare generators for shipment and undertake any other duties as necessary.Requirements and Skills:Possess a minimum of (7+ years) of experience as an industrial diesel engine mechanic, with extensive diesel mechanical experience.Demonstrate a profound understanding of diesel engine technology.Proven track record of working with large industrial diesel engines and associated equipment.Extensive experience (7+ years) with various name brands and industrial engines like Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, etc.Proficiency in diagnosing and rectifying mechanical issues in large commercial and industrial diesel engines.Ability to estimate task completion times accurately.Exceptional communication skills coupled with a strong team player mindset.Working Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Compensation: CompetitiveBenefits: 100% Employer Paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and GAP InsuranceLocation: Brighton, ColoradoGenerator Source is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity.
