Job DescriptionAramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a System Patient Dining & Experience Manager to drive the patient dining programs and patient satisfaction scores at the Jefferson Health System. Manages the patient experience activities and nursing relationships within a hospital system, supporting multiple sites throughout Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Suburbs and South New Jersey. This is a customer service/hospitality position representing the food service department to the patients. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to patient/resident care.  Job ResponsibilitiesEnsures the patient dining programs are rolled out and being maintained, including ongoing training of staffOversees and supports the patient menu. Indirectly supports the Call Center and the CBORD patient menu system Conducts audits working with the Food Service Operations team for Process ImprovementAttends and chairs meetings for patient satisfaction, nurse meetings, client meetings and others as appropriate.Attends department manager meetings and reports findings.Conducts nurse rounding and completes logs sending thank you notes as appropriate.Drives the patient experience; analyzes and reports out on Press Ganey Data and posts scores. Ensures the team is conducting patient rounding and completing rounding logs.  Participates in the gridding process.Completes action item reports and all other necessary reporting daily, sending to all appropriate personnel.Supervises, staffs, trains, conducts applicable rounding and manages the performance of the staff on the patient units.  Recognizes and adopts activities appropriate to the specific needs of the patient/resident population.Manages large projects - unit specific or system wide. Travels to each site on a regularly scheduled basis.At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.Healthcare Food Service Management experience required.CBORD experience preferred (both as a user, but also from a programming and subject matter expert perspective).Patient Services experience within food service is required. Contract management experience is desired, but not required. Demonstrated leadership skills including broad knowledge of management practices and good business analysis/project management skills.Proven ability to manage numerous projects, priorities, as well as resources, remotely in a highly dispersed organization.Excellent communication and presentation skills with a range of audiences including clients, front-line managers, and C-level leadersComprehensive understanding of Aramark patient dining programs - Patient Dining Platform, Tray Essentials, Net Menu, CBORD, Patient Rounding is a plusRegistered Dietitian or Nutrition background preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office programs is essential in this role. Must be willing to travel to different hospital sites within the City of Philadelphia, suburbs of Philadelphia and South New Jersey areas.  NOTE: This client location requires all individuals working on site to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before start date.#FS-300EducationAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
