They are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer Designer in Indianapolis, Indiana.Experience and Skills:Must have 3-5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer DesignerMust have experience peforming electrical design and power distribution for buildingsDesign electrical systems for buildings, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, security, and communication systems, adhering to relevant codes, standards, and client requirementsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall building designsPrepare technical drawings, specifications, and documents using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar toolsReview and evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, and requests for information (RFIs) during construction phases to ensure compliance with design intent and specificationsStay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical design and incorporate them into project solutions where applicableSupport project managers in budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination activities related to electrical designParticipate in meetings, presentations, and client discussions to communicate project progress, address concerns, and solicit feedbackProficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar toolsBS in Electrical Engineering or similar preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not requiredBenefits:Base salary of $80,000 - $125,000, depending on experienceHealth, dental, vision401(k) with company matchUp to 4 days remote weeklyMuch more!
