We are looking for an Accounting Manager, Corporate to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.Responsibilities:Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable accounting standards.Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical financial data and insights into future financial trends.Lead and mentor a team of corporate accountants, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering professional development.Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations and journal entries are completed accurately and on schedule.Strengthen internal control procedures and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, identifying and addressing control gaps as needed.Provide expert guidance on complex technical accounting matters, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of accounting standards across the organization.Collaborate with finance and business leaders to analyze financial data, interpret trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceExtensive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.Proficiency in financial reporting systems and software.Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the organization's financial strategy.
