Job Description:

Duties: Will be responsible for understanding building code's and enforcing those codes on the manufacturing of modular mobile medical equipmentQAQC of construction activities (drywall, electrical, welding, HVAC installation, plumbing) Analyze codes and identify areas where product modification or alternative solution could be necessary (for example: Some building codes for medical structures must have studs every 6 inches vs. traditional 12 or 16 found in residential or commercial) Have a continuous improvement mindset- what can be done to improve compliance through the building process?Work with internal teams (design, operations) and build relationships with appropriate code officials, industry associations, or regulatory bodies Assist with submittals to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to streamline approvalsLead external inspection coordinationThis company has anywhere from 3-5 new units being constructed, and they have constant "turn-a-round" units that come back from the field that need to be cleaned, fixed, and 100% ready for their next deployment. Would guess 60-70 units currently in the field operating. This role is more constructioninspection oriented, but has a manufacturing component as well Must be able to have meetings with the customer, leadershipexecutive teamReports to Senior Engineering ManagerRequired Skills (Must have):Client is targeting at least 6 years of experience in a relatable role.Must have ability to understand and read blueprintsMust have experience with building codes: fire, safety, electrical, NEC, state mechanicalelectrical codes, plumbing codes, ICC codes (International Code Council) etc. Ability to identify risk and flag concerns and work to fixPrevious experience interpreting complex legal and technical documents and applying them to construction scenarios Preferred Skills (Nice to have): Experience in clean room, laboratory, or modular buildingKnowledge of cleanroom and laboratory applications, USP 797800 and cGMP (current good manufacturing practice) Bachelor's Degree
