Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Troubleshooting process - foam, mold release, logistics, R & D applications, new product development, quoting, economics, and new processes. Responsible for safety environmental and waste managementResearches concepts that will reduce costs in existing methods, processes and materialProvides recommendations for refining and improving chemical or assembly processDevelop time studies on an as needed basisProvide technical assistance to the production floorIntroduce production personnel to new processesConducts process audits to ensure parameters are operating within specified rangeRobot programming on Milsco specific robot systemsInspect machinery and equipment to insure specific operational performance and optimum utilizationProvide "on-call" troubleshooting and process control support for assigned production departmentsLead scrap reduction and other cost reduction improvements utilizing alternative materials, tools, equipment, and operator methods by means of coordinating all shift process stakeholdersAssist engineering in developing production methods that are efficient and safeResponsible for ongoing management of environmental aspects of assigned production processes e.g. Hazardous materials, Equipment ventilation, Overall operator safety, Recycling, Waste disposalPerform other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three plus years related experience andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in a LeanSix Sigma environmentBasic knowledge of PLCBasic knowledge of foam processing would be ideal
