Job Description:

Responsibilities: * Operate tank truck to transport water for construction projects. * Insert pipes in refilled trenches and other excavations. * Operate auxiliary pump on the truck to pump water into fill to settle and compact dirt. * Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. * Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and safety guidelines. * Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any issues to the dispatcher. * Maintain accurate logs and records. * Safely operate the truck to pick up and/or deliver cargo, as assigned by the dispatcher. * Report safety hazards. * Immediately report incidents involving injury, illness, or property damage. * Wear appropriate PPE as outlined in the Company's policy/guidelines. * Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and rules. * Refuse any unsafe task or operation. * Participate in safety meetings and training. * Consistently be aware of your personal safety and that of your coworkers and your surroundings. Qualifications: * Valid Class A or B CDL license with tanker endorsement. * Valid DOT Medical Certificate and Medical Examiner's Report required. * Clean driving record with no DUIs within the past five years, no more than two moving violations, and no more than one accident within the past three years. * Two or more years of driving experience in a comparable vehicle. * Ability to comply with federal and state regulations. * Ability to read, write, and speak basic English. * Ability to process alpha/numeric information accurately. * Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced work environment. * Ability to think logically, follow procedures, instructions, and make sound decisions. * Ability to work flexible hours, extended hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
