S3 is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Military Systems Analyst in support of our programs with the MCBL, at Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Description: The Military Systems Analyst will serve on a team performing analytical support for the Mission Command Battle Lab (MCBL) objectives and tasks at Fort Leavenworth, KS and will provide operational expertise, scenario development, and analytical skills in support of MCBL learning objectives/demands as prescribed in AFC/FCC directives. Responsibilities: * Conducts tasks related to experimentation such as researching, planning, preparing, executing, facilitating, analyzing and documenting results. * Supports analytic study efforts to explore future operational and technical capabilities in support of the Mission Command function, Echelons above Brigade (EAB) headquarters and formations, and related Combined Arms Center proponents. * Ensures the accurate representation of Army mission command capability gaps, needs, functions, processes, tasks, requirements, and architecture; further learning in regards to C2 and EAB capability development in addition to technology trends and application opportunities. * Conducts background research and literature review provided by the Government (examples like concepts/white papers/directives) on event topics provided by the government. * Provides input and analytic effort for initial planning conferences, mid planning conferences, final planning conferences, and after action reviews of MCBL events. * Conducts a variety of research activities in support of C2/EAB capability developments to include operational studies, future studies, focused analyses, current and future operations assessments throughout the full spectrum of military operations and technology application support. * Reviews and provides input or comments to concepts, doctrine, requirements, and designs to support C2 capability developments. Qualifications: * BA or BS degree in a relevant science or technology area from an accredited university and 5 years of relevant experience. * Must have a minimum of five (5) years Army experience and served at the level of brigade/division/corps or higher. * Familiarity with Army and Joint C2 information systems and familiarity with Cyber and Space capabilities (desired). * Comprehensive knowledge and experience in systems analysis and design, information systems requirements determination, and operational architecture development. * Experience as a task leader in support of Army or joint capability development processes and requirements. * The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. * Must be flexible for travel.
