As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our company's payroll system and ensuring all our employees are paid accurately and on time. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating payroll records, preparing reports, and providing support to our HR department. Manage and oversee the daily operations of our payroll system, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.2. Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, benefits, garnishments, new hires, terminations, and leave of absences.3. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, HR, and other departments as required.4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.5. Coordinate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.6. Assist in the development and implementation of payroll procedures and policies.7. Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records.8. Handle the administration of the electronic timekeeping system and setup of new hires.9. Process special payrolls including annual bonus and year-end adjustment payrolls.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll position, preferably within the financial services industry.3. Proficiency in ADP.4. Experience with complex payroll systems and processes.5. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to salaries, wages, taxes, benefits, and other payroll-related matters.6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.8. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.11.
