Essential Job Functions Include: Provide general mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting and repair work throughout the building. Service and repair all equipment, air units, vents, faucets, lavatories, electrical motors, and appliances when possible. Complete and log work orders using Computer Maintenance Management Software. Perform equipment safety checks and preventative maintenance tasks. Service and repair medical equipment such as Geri chairs, wheelchairs, and hospital beds. Provide security to ensure safe and secure environment for the residents and staff. Work in emergency situations and assist with conducting fire drills. Assist maintenance ground work when necessary. Additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Director of Environmental Services. Requirements: ·         High School Diploma required. ·         Three years buildings and grounds/technical experience Qualifications: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and on call as needed. Must be able to address problems and deal with conflicts in a tactful manner. Must be able to work independently and see projects to completion in a timely manner. Subject to frequent interruptions throughout the work day. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodation may apply.) Must be able to have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, visitors, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances.   Must be vaccinated against COVID-19.   E.O.E.
