This role is a great opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their advanced financial analysis skills and contribute to our company's financial planning and strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key financial insights to help drive strategic decision making across the business.Responsibilities:1. Conduct complex financial analysis to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. 2. Develop and maintain financial models using advanced Excel skills and macros for forecasting, trend analyses, and financial planning. 3. Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management. 4. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes. 5. Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis. 6. Investigate and report to the manager any inconsistencies or improprieties. 7. Analyze data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed. 8. Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested. 9. Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the organization's performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA, CFA, or CPA is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. 3. Proven expertise in MS Excel and financial software applications, with a strong emphasis on modeling and advanced Excel skills. 4. Knowledge of writing excel macros and the ability to use them for financial analysis and modeling. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present financial information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines. 8. High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong orientation towards quality control. 9. Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence - ability to train and mentor junior staff. 10.
