The Leasing Consultant is primarily responsible for supporting the Community Manager in the general administration and physical operation of the community. A strong emphasis should be placed on marketing and leasing of the community in order to ensure that an acceptable rental occupancy level is maintained. Compensation and SPM Benefits: * Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance * Voluntary Paid Life & Disability Insurance * Holidays and Paid Time Off for Personal, Sick and Vacation Time * 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match * Immediate Pay (integrates with payroll and enables you to transfer your earned wages in-between paychecks when you need it most) * Employee Assistance Program * Health and Wellness Program Job Responsibilities/Requirements: * Must be detail-oriented, with great written and oral communication skills, as well as strong marketing, leasing and sales experience preferred. * Accomplished interpersonal skills; capable of dealing effectively with residents, vendors and co-workers. * Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly, whether it is a prospect call, resident, service request, etc. * Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, and professionally presents the community while communicating community and unit features and benefits. * Know the current condition of all vacant apartments that have been made ready for move-in. * Show apartments to prospects and provide various rental information. * Accept and process applications. * Assist Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager in preparation of daily and weekly reports, resident communications, move-out inventory, market surveys, etc. * Marketing the Community daily by using all available advertising. * Working knowledge of Yardi 7S is a plus. * Must have a valid driver's license, proper automobile liability insurance and dependable transportation that is in good operating condition.
