Maintenance Technician SRG Global Inc. has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at our Portageville, MO facility. Job Summary: We are seeking a strong individual with the right virtue and talent to join our team. A Maintenance Technician provides technical support for the Plating Line; Troubleshoot and Repair all machinery in the plant. Main Responsibilities: * Responsible for PM Quality and Completing PM's on time * Responsible for organizing and completing Work Orders on time * Responsible for organizing parts for PM' and Project Work * Responsible to be the technical expert for the department and point of contact with equipment suppliers * Provide technical solutions to problems in order to decrease downtime * Work with limited direction or supervision * Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout / tagout procedures * Performs work as a team member to assist in the completion of assigned tasks * Performs work on multiple heights / levels * Regularly perform preventative maintenance projects and assignments * Comply with all safety rules, company rules and guidelines * Demonstrate excellent attendance * Must be willing to work overtime and willing to work on any shift as required Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED * Knowledge of mechanics (Basic Electricity, Basic Mechanics, Basic Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Basic Welding and Basic Plumbing) * Ability to troubleshoot Electrical circuits (DC volts, 110 volt to 480 volt) * Basic knowledge of Hand Tools / Power Tools * Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklift, chain hoist, bridge crane (Forklift Certified) * Ability to perform Maintenance tasks with flexibility in position * Must have Maintenance Mechanic experience Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 8+ hours and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. * Requires hand, arm back, and leg strength; also, bending and squatting ability * Must have eye, foot, and hand coordination, and be able to do repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor manipulation * Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and perform work indoors/outdoors as needed Company Overview: SRG Global, a Guardian company, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high value coatings on plastic for the automotive, commercial truck and consumer goods industries.
