This position requires management resources to adhere to all company standards, policies, and procedures and comply with all federal and state regulations, including OSHA, TCEQ, etc.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESFollow safety rules, regulations, and procedures by MSHA/OSHA and Alleyton policies.Safely perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections, complete daily equipment reports/plant inspections, and report unsafe equipment/conditions to the supervisor or foreman.Demonstrate the ability to operate equipment safely and productively as assigned continuously.Must be able or willing to learn to operate other mobile equipment, including haul trucks, motor graders, water trucks, and loaders.Maintain good housekeeping practices on plants and equipment using water hoses and shovels.Assist maintenance personnel with plant repairs when needed. Perform preventative maintenance.Cross-train on other positions in the plant to serve as a relief to other operators.Demonstrates a positive, upbeat attitude and energy level and works as a team player.Assist with upkeep and greasing all bearings in the plant.Performs other related duties as may be assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Prior experience safely operating heavy mobile equipment or the aggregates industry is preferred. General maintenance abilities are required.
