Our client, a successful nonprofit 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Grants Manager to oversee the lifecycle of their grant initiatives. This is a full time, direct hire role requiring 1-2 days in the office. Compensation is in the range of $90,000 to $100,000. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant management, compliance, and financial oversight, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. At least five (5) years of grants management experience. The Grants Manager role is essential for ensuring the successful acquisition and management of grant funding to support their organizational goals. Requirements / Qualification Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; AND 3-5 years of progressive relevant experience; OR An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience: Working with and understanding grant programs and the intricacies of the cyclical nature of the grants process. Strong project management skills, maintaining processes, creating processes, and documenting status of ongoing projects. Strong understanding of grant regulations and compliance requirements. Grants Management Oversees the entire grant lifecycle, from proposal development to post-award monitoring. Reviews and assesses grant applications for completeness and compliance with funding guidelines. Maintains detailed records of grant submissions, awards, and reporting requirements. Monitors time being charged, ensuring it is up to date. Tracks external expenses Participates in selection and implementation of a time-keeping software and other software related to grants. Maintains all grant management and time-keeping systems. Compliance, Reporting & Monitoring of Financial Aspects of Grant Provides reporting on progress of each grant project Ensures adherence to federal, state, and organizational regulations related to grant funding. Prepares and submits timely and accurate financial and programmatic reports to funding agencies. Monitors compliance with grant terms and conditions, including budget management. Monitors grants to ensure company's policies and procedures are followed. Collects and maintains all grant documents Ensures documentation on processes is current Performs calculations related to grant, including but not limited to, time worked on grants by billing rates. Prepares grant invoices and submit filings for reimbursement; tracks receipts against billings. Performs reconciliations at end of each grant, if necessary. Monitors and updates rate calculations, as necessary used in grant, including the NICRA, direct labor, and fringe benefit rates. Collects and maintains all grant-related receipts and invoices. Collaboration & Support Works closely with program managers and project directors to develop grant proposals that align with organizational goals. Provides training and guidance to staff on grant application processes and requirements. Act as a liaison between the organization and funding agencies, responding to inquiries and facilitating communication. Documentation and Communication: Develops and maintains templates for grant proposals, reports, and documentation. Communicates effectively with stakeholders regarding grant opportunities, timelines, and requirements. Budget Management Assists in the preparation of grant budgets and financial plans. Tracks expenditures and ensure they align with grant agreements and organizational policies. Conducts regular financial reviews and audits of grant-funded projects. Research and Development: Identifies potential funding opportunities and keeps abreast of trends in grant funding. Conducts research to inform grant proposals and program development.
