Stock Clerk

Apply Description Job Title: Stock Clerk GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Receive, move, deliver, and transact materials as required. * Pick, pack, ship and transact materials supplied by Eastlake to other Conn-Selmer locations. * Execute material movement to the correct locations through entire facility and perform associated transactions. * Comply with Eastlake Policies and Procedures, and with functional and cosmetic quality standards. * Comply with all safety procedures, PPE, 5S and attendance requirements. * Maintain a clean and orderly work area. SPECIFIC DUTIES: * Moves parts, records movement and updates tracking boards in all shop floor locations. * Conduct Cycle Count in accord with Conn-Selmer Cycle Count process. * Complete appropriate paperwork for inter-company transfers, verify and stage for shipping. * Scanning, physical handling and management of visual bins. * Moves in process instruments and associated tags throughout the shop as required. * Completes necessary reports, transfers, MO updates and paperwork. * Other duties as assigned. * This description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS: * Regular Attendance. * Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy. * Manufacturing Process aptitude including understanding of manufacturing routings. * Good mathematical aptitude along with written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work autonomously. * Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures. * Ability to drive a forklift and become forklift certified. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to perform repetitive work, sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 consecutive hours. * Ability to safely lift 40lbs. unassisted and to unload and stock raw material bars, tubes, and coils. * Ability to push carts of material to areas throughout the facility. * Ability to handle hazardous materials (appropriate OSHA training is a requirement). * Ability to handle exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise, and vibration. Salary Description $20.00 per hour
