Qualified candidates will possess the following:• Have 2-5 years of experience with MIG & TIG welding in a fabrication environment• Must have mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel MIG & TIG welding experience• Be a problem solver• Blueprint reading a must•Quality focused• Welding certification or technical degree a plusConductix-Wampfler offers a great starting wage, with health, dental, and life insurance, 401k plan, paid vacationpersonal time and holidays, profit sharing and tuition reimbursement program.Drug-free workplaceEOESee full job description below:SUMMARYLays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as frames, stands, reels, shafts, and parts by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIGTIGTorch welding equipment.• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.• Uses acetyleneplasma arc equipment to cut metal parts to print specifications.• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.• Responsible for reading blueprints, carrying out welding requirements, and ensuring product quality. Required to perform duties following work order process sheets.• Will be required to perform additional duties as assigned.• Maintains and sustains 5S within the department.• Responsible for checking the accuracy of engineering, sales, and manufacturing offices' input to ensure customer final product is correct and within quality acceptance guidelines.
