Human Resources ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee key HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and career development. This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership while fostering a positive and legally compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will balance operational HR duties with initiatives that support organizational goals and enhance employee engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Workplace CultureServe as a primary resource for employees, addressing workplace concerns, performance issues, and conflict resolution.Enforce employee policies and guidelines in accordance with the employee handbook.Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to strengthen recruitment efforts and workplace culture.Maintain a visible presence on-site across different shifts, gathering feedback and addressing employee questions.Organize employee engagement activities and events to promote team cohesion.Compliance & HR OperationsEnsure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.Conduct organizational gap analyses and implement corrective action plans.Provide leadership with insights on employee morale and emerging workplace trends.Talent Acquisition & Performance ManagementManage recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and coordination with hiring managers.Support managers in setting performance goals and conducting employee evaluations.Identify and coordinate training and development opportunities to enhance workforce skills.Address employee relations issues, including minor investigations and disciplinary actions.Additional ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with supervisors and department managers.Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree required.Experience: Minimum of 5 years in human resources, with expertise in employment law, employee relations, and performance management.Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing setting, requiring regular on-site presence.
