Clinical Director - ABA Therapy - BCBA Required

Overview: The Clinical Director (CD) at Verbal Beginnings encompasses a blend of clinical leadership, administration, and direct client support, all while upholding the organization's core values. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Verbal Beginnings' mission and values are upheld while delivering high-quality care and support to both clients and staff.  Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities:Leadership and Supervision:Provide both administrative and clinical leadership to staff and teams.Directly supervise and support Clinical Supervisors (CSs).Ensure that all staff members are adhering to the organization's core values and strategic plan.Client and Family Support:Address and respond to questions and concerns from families.Ensure high-quality services are delivered to clients, aligning with the organization's mission.Collaboration with Center Director:Work closely with the Center Director to implement and monitor systems, supports, and programs.Oversee the quality of client services and the efficiency of staff supervision.Provide clinical and administrative support to staff as needed.Adherence to Core Values:Embrace and model the organization's values of Passion, Accountability, Celebration, and Kindness.Promote a positive and supportive work environment that reflects these values.Skills and Qualities:Administrative Skills:Ability to manage and oversee multiple aspects of clinical and administrative operations.Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.Clinical Expertise:Deep understanding of clinical practices and the ability to provide effective supervision and guidance to Clinical Supervisors.Communication Skills:Excellent interpersonal skills to support and address client and family concerns.Ability to collaborate effectively with other leaders and staff.Commitment to Core Values:Demonstrated passion for the organization's mission and values.Ability to lead by example and foster a culture of accountability, celebration, and kindness. Qualifications: Required Education and ExperiencePrevious Experience Supervising BCBAs Completion of a Masters Degree in Applied Behavior AnalysisBoard Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing (BCBA)Completion of 8 hours supervision course approved by the BACBPreferred Education and ExperiencePrevious experience with supervision per BACB standardsPrevious experience with early intervention with an emphasis on Verbal Behavior Experience with programming based on Skinner's analysis of language.  Additional Eligibility QualificationsLicensure to practice ABA in the State of Maryland (LBA)BLS/CPR certification including pediatric BLS/CPR  Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
