Job Description **THIS IS A FULL-TIME TELECOMMUTING POSITION** You will be the Data Scientist Analyst Sr. for the Operations Analytics & Applications Team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, automating, and maintaining operations analytical tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development. What You Will Be Doing As the Data Scientist Analyst Sr., you will be responsible designing and implementing build procedures that are used to support operations tracking, reporting, and delivery. Your responsibilities will include: •Creating and supporting operations Data Models •Leveraging existing Data Model Tools such as RShiny, PyShiny, and SQL Server Procedures •Designing and supporting SAP S4 Conversions •Supporting data visuals and communications at the executive level This position typically requires 5 years of professional experience. Basic Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems •Hands-on experience with data analysis, statistical, and visualization packages. •Experienced with the application of statistics and data-mining in business environment (trend discovery and analysis, text mining, correlation and pattern discovery, etc.). •Demonstrated examples of working with business partners to deliver a solution that meet project objectives (requirements generation, functional specification generation to project execution). •Demonstrated experience with the fundamentals of machine learning and natural language processing. •Experience with R/RShiny, Tableau, Python, SQL, and Excel. •An understanding of traditional business intelligence and data warehousing concepts (ETL, data modeling, and reporting). •Must be a U.S. Citizen due to program requirements Desired skills •Master's degree in Data Science •Experience with SQL Server Mgt Studio, R Studio, Visual Studio, HANA Studio, Domino and GitLab •Knowledge of SAP ERP Systems, Applications and Processes, and data constructs, as it applies to Procurement. •Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal, presentation, and written). •Strong problem-solving skills. •Able to work closely with others in a collaborative environment. Ability to work remotely Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $93,400 - $179,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
