At Essity: This Is What We Do About The Role Essity Professional Hygiene is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager - GPO who is responsible for providing on-going support to high value clients. Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with major accounts. The KAM - GPO will assist in leading the Field Sales/Segment Teams to drive company and segment objectives. The ideal candidate will live near a major US international airport within the aligned Essity Regional structure and the ability to travel often. What You Will Do * Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts, distribution and GPOs to promote brand awareness and secure profitable business. * Develop, implement and monitor customer specific sales processes and account plans/Joint Business Plans to meet/exceed sales targets. * Frequently analyze customer information to discover and manage business risks and opportunities. * Recommend products and services (value proposition) that fit well with client's business needs. * Drives contract negotiations including terms and conditions, product offers and pricing in line with overall product and pricing strategies. * Provide on-going support to high value customers by managing internal resources to support business objectives. * Re-evaluate customer prioritization of allocated customers annually and propose actions aligning with business needs * Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs and competitive actions and distribute to internal stakeholders Who You Are * Minimum Bachelor's degree preferably in Business or Sales & Marketing. Experience in lieu of education will be considered * Minimum of 3 years of commercial account sales * Minimum of 5-10 years working with and calling on distribution * Strong knowledge of Industrial segment, key drivers, channels, distribution, and purchasing practices * Sales management experience preferred * Proven senior level negotiating skills * Leadership by influence, collaboration & coaching capabilities * Functional experience with CRM * Technical and Financial acumen * Ability to travel 40% of time to domestic locations About Our DEI Culture Guided by our Beliefs & Behavior, our culture is the foundation that connects our history with our future.
