Forklift/Cherry Picker OperatorOur Forklift/Cherry Picker Operators are responsible for completing tasks involved in the efficient and safe operation of a motorized lift vehicle to pull products based on customer orders. The operator must be certified to operate, set-up, and maintain the lift. In accordance with the DFWA, Covetrus maintains a drug-free workplace.Ability to lift and transport 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.Must be able to stand and/or walk on concrete for the duration of the shift and complete tasks that include bending, stooping, and reaching.A minimum of 3 months of experience operating, setting up, and maintaining a lift is required. Prior Certifications are preferred but not required.We will train and internally certify all selected newly hired operators on our lifts regardless of their current Certification status.Hours/Schedule: M-F/6am - 2:30pmMust be able to speak, read and write in English and understand basic math independently without assistance or guidance. This is required for all positions without exception.Good Attendance and Punctuality is a must for success with us.Must be comfortable working closely with others both in teams and independently.Must be a Self-Starter, actively looking to find ways to help and move processes along without having to be asked.Ability to use a computer and mouse is required throughout the facility to perform basic tasks.Overtime is available but not required.Individuals who are eager to work Overtime are encouraged to apply.Flexible weekend hours available for OT i.e., just work 4hrs, 6hrs, etc.Will be working in a Temperature Controlled environment.Individuals who are interested in learning our entire business and being cross-trained in as many positions as possible are preferred and encouraged to apply.Covetrus is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
