Pump Mechanic for Direct Hire

Seeking Pump Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a top-tier industrial pump installation and repair company in Richmond, CA.This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending, 401(k), paid holidays, Life and Disability Insurance, and additional supplemental products.Training/Certifications: Ability to perform laser alignments and ability to take vibration readings preferred.Shift Time/Overtime: First Shift with Overtime as required.Pay: $25-45/H based on experience.Job Responsibilities for Pump Mechanic:Disassemble and repair rotating or centrifugal pumps.Read blueprints and drawings.Use micrometers and dial indicators.Utilize presses, torches and pullers.Align pumps and motors.Rebuild mechanical seals.Qualifications for Pump Mechanic:High School Diploma or Trade school or equivalent training.2 plus years of work experience as pump mechanic with installation and repair experience preferred.Experience and ability to use safely lifting devices such as cranes, forklifts, and rigging.Experience or knowledge in welding and fabrication preferred.Have a working knowledge of fits and clearances.Be adept at reading micrometers and other measuring instruments.Physical Requirements for Pump Mechanic:This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds.This position requires working in diverse conditions including open air shop and field environments.If you are interested in learning more about this role, please submit your resume for immediate consideration!For faster response text "Pump" to 321-418-6672.INDH #J-18808-Ljbffr
