Stock Associate • Part-Time • Dierbergs MarketsA Stock Associate works as part of a team to stock and arrange merchandise while utilizing their eye for organization. They are friendly, enjoy helping people, and are able to multitask with their responsibilities:Assist with stocking, product display and rotation, inventory and quality control.Interact with customers and share your knowledge of the store's vast selection of items.Operate and maintain department equipment such as safety cutter, baler, high lift and electric/hand jacks (must be 18 years old to operate some equipment).Count and sort incoming products to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.Examine stock for damaged product and place in designated areas.Break down loads and move cases of product to aisles using two or six-wheeler.Match order codes, UPC codes or product descriptions to shelf tags before stocking shelves.Ensure that the store is well-stocked and looks showroom-ready - it's Dierbergs, and our customers expect the best.Reconcile invoices and requisitions with product deliveries.Set up and take down displays and/or shelves according to company standards.Perform cashier or courtesy clerk duties when requested.Stock an average of 60 cases per hour.EssentialsAt least 16 years of age.Basic math skills and computer skills (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).Ability to follow safety guidelines and keep your work area safe and clean using company-approved equipment.Flexibility to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays.Prompt and regular attendance based on your schedule.Adherence to our dress code, appearance, and personal hygiene standards.Associates in food handling departments are required to receive a Hepatitis A vaccination (MO only).You may be cross-trained in other departments.Physical RequirementsLifting & Carrying - Up to 50 lbs occasionally & up to 20 lbs frequently.Pushing & Pulling - Up to 90 lbs of force occasionally.Occasional - Sit & climb.Frequent - Stand, walk, head turn, trunk bend, kneel, stoop, squat, handling, side reach, overhead reach, & power grip.Constant - Handling, forward reach, grasp, pinch, finger manipulation, & feel.What's in it for you?Weekly paychecks - yes, we are going to pay you every single week!Medical insurance, 401(k), pension plan, and paid time off - even for part-time Associates.Automatic, scheduled pay increases to reward your awesome performance.Work/life balance and flexible scheduling.Training and growth potential to help you reach your career goals with us.Discounts at the Starbucks kiosks inside some of our locations.Wellness initiatives, Associate appreciation and volunteer opportunities to keep you engaged and involved.FoundationalEmbody and BE the following: Be Connected, Be Curious, Be Courageous, Be Caring, Be People Centric, Be a Contributor, Be a Cultivator, and in all you do, Be YOU!This job description is representative only and is not all inclusive of the responsibilities that the Associate may be required to perform. #J-18808-Ljbffr
