Industry: IT Co Title: AR Technical Support Lead Location: Mountain View, CA Duration: 9+ months Job Description What you will do Leadership & People Management: Lead and mentor a team of logistics specialists and technical support personnel. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs. Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members have the resources to succeed. Logistics Operations Management: Oversee the entire logistics process, from receiving and inventory management to distribution and returns. Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of AR hardware to internal teams and external partners. Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping. Technical Support Management: Oversee the provision of technical support to users of AR hardware and software. Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and user inquiries. Develop and maintain support documentation and knowledge bases. Implement processes for troubleshooting, bug triage, and RMA management. Planning & Strategy: Develop long-term plans for logistics and technical support operations. Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements. Forecast future needs and ensure scalability of operations. Contribute to the development of departmental budgets and resource allocation. Communication & Reporting: Establish and maintain strong communication channels with clients and internal stakeholders. Provide regular updates on team performance, project progress, and key metrics. Conduct post-mortem investigations of significant events and identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for leadership reviews. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality. Must-have skills: Device Testing Logistics Management People Management Years of experience needed: 5+ years of experience in logistics management, technical support, or a related field. 2+ years of experience leading and managing teams. Nice-to-have skills: AR/VR Technology Project management 3 ITIL or other service management frameworks
