The Market Development and Launch Manager is responsible for finding and developing new business opportunities, expanding markets, building strong relationships with communities, leading cross-functional fiber deployment teams and achieving high growth. The person in this role will recommend new business development opportunities, launch projects in new markets, and lead a cross-functional team to pursue the long-term goals of the organization. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Identifies and develops new business opportunities. Builds and manages relationships with cities and key influencers, customers, partners, and vendors. Builds cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth. Tracks, researches, and identifies emerging markets and trends. Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions. Helps to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them. Job Requirements 7+ years of experience in telecommunications operations, project management and/or relationship management required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Excellent time management and organizational skills. A high level of analysis and problem-solving skills. Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality. Comfortable interacting at all levels of an organization, customers, and all other external stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and proven ability to run effective collaborations. Travel as required by projects (up to 30%) Working Conditions Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
