This role is for people who want to support business-to-business relations with insurance agents throughout the country. You'll be the first contact for agents and their customers: answering coverage and underwriting questions, supporting policy changes, and providing troubleshooting support for both sales and service functions. RECEIVES formal classroom training and BEGINS to handle sales and service inquiries related to Commercial Auto Insurance. Many associates see a base salary increase of 10% within their first year as a Commercial Independent Agency Support Representative!Qualifications & Skills:Minimum of 2 years of customer service or administrative support experience requiredPreferred experience working in an insurance agency or as a trucking insurance agentP&C license preferredAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writingAbility to troubleshoot applications and escalate as neededAbility to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environmentMinimum of high school diploma or equivalent; college degree or currently pursuing preferredMEETS the requirements specified below.Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking.Must be able to speak in a professional manner by telephone. Associate must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the state insurance department. Must perform duties at a stationary workstation.Must be able to handle heavy call volume and stressful situations.Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills.Must be able to multi-task.
