Job Number: R0176338Developmental Construction ManagerKey Role:Lead the development of client facilities and infrastructure requirements throughout the life cycle via creative approaches which achieve functional end-states. Develop innovative solutions based on advanced principles within the facilities industry. Apply specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance.Basic Qualifications:Experience in working with General Contractors to perform construction activitiesExperience with conducting construction inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications and building codesAbility to manage design or construction efforts, including document administration, scheduling, and fundingAbility to provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction issuesAbility to optimize performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and within budgetAbility to manage and verify change ordersAbility to work with various stakeholders simultaneouslyAbility to obtain a security clearanceHS diploma or GEDAdditional Qualifications:Experience with commercial constructionExperience with secure building design and constructionKnowledge of project or construction management softwareAbility to use basic computer softwarePossession of excellent oral and written communication skillsBachelor's degreeClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
