Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.Responsibilities Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Responsibilities:Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice andapplicable state and federal regulations.Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommendupdates or refinements as warranted.Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascularinterventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA.Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.One or more of the following required:Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular CredentialingInternational (CCI) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtainedwithin 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transferdate.Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
