On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Customer Account Manager to join their team in Woodbridge, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the packaging industry and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. The new resource will work closely with customers, the sales team and the production team, and manage the A-to-Z order fulfillment throughout the production cycle, serving as the primary point of contact for customers, and playing a key role in ensuring a long-lasting relationship with the clients.Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. Respond to customer inquiries and requests, assisting them promptly and efficiently. Proactively anticipate customer needs and offer solutions. Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient and timely manner. Organize workflow to meet customers deadlines. Follow closely the customer PO through the manufacturing production cycle: from PO receipt, PO entry in the company ERP; understand production and logistics lead times, communication of PO lead time to customer, to making sure the PO is received and properly billed. Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills. Attend customer questions, complaints and concerns promptly, and facilitate satisfactory resolutions. Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system and policies. Collaborate with other team members, including sales, production, quality and logistics. Work closely with the production and logistic team, to troubleshoot possible delays in customer orders and communicate such delays in a timely manner Match and file customers' purchase orders to invoices generated by accounting. Adjust complaints concerning billing or service rendered, working closely with the accounting and/or quality department. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts within the assigned territory. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Develop and present persuasive sales presentations. Basic Qualifications Associate's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management or customer service. Basic proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word and Outlook Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of the packaging market and industry trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional presentation.
